Award-winning fashion designer and businesswoman took part in a tour and Q&A at World of Fashion’s 10th anniversary on 10 October
Victoria Beckham brought her revered style and fashion insight to the World of Fashion event on 10 October, hosted once again by Mall of the Emirates.
The Creative Director toured the event’s elaborate Bazaar Capsule activation in the mall’s Central Galleria, before heading on stage at 7pm where she was interviewed by Harper’s Bazaar. Beckham then joined event visitors for a meet and greet and photo opportunity.
Beckham is the creative director of the Victoria Beckham brand and was awarded the prestigious Designer Brand of the Year accolade at the British Fashion Awards in 2011 and 2013. In 2014, she was appointed International Goodwill Ambassador for UNAIDS.
World of Fashion’s Bazaar Capsule is a five-day installation taking place until 12 October and is celebrating technology’s collision with the artistry of couture, beauty and design within the region’s rich cultural heritage. The interactive event showcasing Augmented Reality (AR) activations, robotics, 3D printing and virtual fashion. The spectacle also boasts a line-up of celebrities and industry leaders including Sophia the Robot and Iris van Herpen.
