Maxim Yachts has chosen the 2025 Genoa International Boat Show to host the European premiere of the fastest Max 44R ever built, the day cruiser capable of exceeding 50 knots, first unveiled at the 2025 Miami Boat Show. At the heart of the project is a powerful propulsion system featuring three Yamaha XTO V8 450 hp outboard engines.

The Genoa Boat Show will be the stage for the European debut of Maxim Yachts’ latest model—a 44-foot boat that surpasses 50 knots, powered by three Yamaha XTO V8 450 hp engines: the Max 44R.
Alex Cherigny created the design, while the engineering was handled by Isonaval studio, as with previous models in the Spanish shipyard’s range.
The main deck is equipped with two foldable tables for ten guests, four sofas (one with two portable refrigerators) and 16 cup holders.
The helm station features a carbon fibre dashboard with four seats, including the pilot’s seat, and two 16-inch Garmin displays, as well as 11 analogue gauges.
The carbon fibre hard-top is integrated with a JL audio system, featuring two speakers mounted on the hard–top and six distributed throughout the boat.
Both the bow and stern offer sunbathing areas, with the aft section also providing generous storage space.
The galley includes a cooktop, sink, and two large refrigerators, with the option to install up to four refrigerators and an ice maker.
Below deck, there are two double cabins, one of which can be converted into a relaxation area.
As an alternative to the Yamaha 450 hp engines, the Max 44R can also be equipped with three Mercury Verado V10 outboards, ranging from 400 hp to 425 hp.
